Today’s Cotswold Journal carried a piece on the office changes:-
Busy packaging up our bespoke “Betty Twyford”, “George Twyford” and “Bertie Buster Dog Bar” branded soaps to post over to Aga….. thrilled with how they have come out…. and great to be a part of a fabulous brand too…. they’ll hit their shelves in the next week or so!
As the country grinds to a halt with temperatures of -5degrees and below I am a jolly happy soap maker as the temperatures make my life so much easier – popping the stock pots outside to cool faster! Perfect! However, the workshop was too cold even for hardy little me so I dragged everything into the kitchen and, like the good old days set up over the Aga and measured,…
The Moreton Christmas Market has poignancy this year since I am now part of the Moreton Show team… was terrific seeing familiar faces around the town and it really helped the subzero temperatures (it was SO SO cold – so cold even, that when I poured the soup out the thermos at lunch it had a layer of ice on the top!)
With Little Men to help get everything in, a fab fab lunch, a realllly comfy throne type chair, perfectly spaced tables, radiators that were on, a stonking footfall, neighbours popping by, ladies loos that had personal TVs playing Friends on a loop, surprise visits from special people including ones I’d not seen in a couple of years and old school chums bringing home made Cup Cakes and others supplying me…
Yayyyy! Little has been accepted into the Guild of Craft Soap & Toiletry Makers. They raise awareness of the legislative standards that are in place that apply to craft soap and toiletry products and only include crafters who work in compliance with this legislation and who hold relevant public liability insurance… as Little, naturally, does 🙂
Bamboo or hemu wood dish sets and even the Little Beast Bar gets it’s own base so Rover isnt left out on Christmas morning!!!
Celebrations all round folks!
