Little Philosophy

Nestling in the foothills of the north Cotswolds, our aim is to provide your skin with the best, most natural and most wholesome soap possible. Holistically formulated and crafted in a way that we consider both the specific and overall effect of our soap ingredients as well as the manufacturing process and environment when crafting our products...

1. Every ingredient has a purpose and each oil and butter selected for its particular qualities - moisturising, revitalising, relaxing, replenishing... We add nothing purely for cosmetic value and we use only the purest, finest and natural ingredients available.

2. Everything from ingredients to packaging are sourced with care and found to be as close by as possible to cut down on transport miles. We could have made it a lot cheaper with inferior oils and packaging from the Far East, but we believe the environment and sustainability far outweigh a few pennies.

3. The soap is made to wash with, be it wallowing in a deep bath tub, surrounded by candlelight, burning essential oils, with a glass of chilled white wine, soft music, a good book which is the recommended way, but it's exceedingly fine also to use in the shower, at the washbasin or kitchen sink.... Just because we're natural and wholesome doesn't mean our soap has to be saved for best. Buy cheap buy twice the saying goes, and you'll find, if used properly it will last so much longer than mass produced synthetic bars you buy at the supermarket...
