Just as we don't like to use chemicals on our own skin, we don't want to use them on our dogs or pets either - so for bath time occasions we've developed a dog-friendly bar and a brick for our larger four legged friends....
100% Natural DOG SHAMPOO BAR with Calming Lavender and moisturising Apricot - combined with pure oils which make a fabulous lather.....
We have researched this a lot and the soap is safety assessed for humans to use too - we couldn't bear to put "For Animal Use Only" on the packaging! Some companies use tea tree oil in their pet shampoos for its antibacterial and anti-flea qualities, however, there is also a school of thought which states tea tree oil has been known to trigger epilepsy in smaller dogs.... this is the reason we have omitted it in our soap. Instead we have used lavender essential oil which will make the whole ordeal a lot nicer for you and the pooch rather than the syntetic smells most liquid shampoos produce.... lavender is believed to keep pests away and the whole wash will leave their coat deodorized, moisturized, and rejuvenated!
Using a dog shampoo soap bar is more economical than liquid dog shampoo soap because you can apply it exactly where needed. No wasted liquid shampoo when your pooch starts to prance about because he loves his doggie bath....and you!
Good for: Oily, Normal, Fleas, Insects, smelly coats or just dogs coated in mud or in fact anything unmentionable!!!
Age Guidelines: None but we suggest 4 months and upwards post jabs.
Storage Tips: Allow soap to dry then store away from heat and light in the sack supplied.
Aroma: Lavender and Apricot
To use: Wet coat, then rub the bar into the coat to create a sumptuous lather, rinse with warm water then towel dry.

I washed the dog today and the soap smelt lovely and there was a lot less lather so she was easier to rinse. It brought more of her old hair out when I brushed her afterwards than it usually does. Also she is very shiny!!

Perfect! So much easier to use than a bottle of shampoo. Smells yummy and does a great job. No nasty ingredients too - just what I was looking for.
Only one complaint - people who meet us on walks just can't stop stroking my lovely soft puppy!

I washed our crossbreed in this soap before entering him into a local dog show ... he won his class and went on to win best in show! Thank you Naked! Very easy to use and great smelling. Stores away nicely in the cupboard under the sink in between washes! And I get a lovely waft everytime I reach for a dishwasher tablet!

Tried the soap on 2 of my lot and it was a great success!
The fluffy dog's coat settled down a bit. The oil must help. Murdoch was a bit fluffy after but his coat settled also. It was easy to use and my hands benefited as well! They are usually dry and red after bathing 3 dogs in their show shampoo....
I have recommended it to friends and I think it will be excellent when we are away caravanning as the boys have legs and undercarriages washed each evening (long hair and dangly bits get whiffy if not washed!) No bottles to spill on the grass AND great for their skin.
For anyone not used to such products the after froth feeling might be worth mentioning. i.e. that the oil makes wet skin feel a bit "sticky" but as soon as you dry it feels smooth and silky. The same applied to the dogs coats. They felt a bit tacky until I had toweled them off and brushed them. They came up nice and shiny and not at all oily.
I will use it again.....definitely . I would probably not use it on a setter as a pre-show wash as I don't want him fluffy but it would be fantastic on short coated dogs and used in-between show washes will reduce the nasties on the coat and keep skin in good condition.

A seriously good product for dog lovers and owners- especially if, like us, there are 3 to wash post walkies!!! We love this shampoo bar and so do our hounds! So easy to use and no waste (unlike shampoo which mostly ends up on the floor as they wriggle free!)
Leaves our dogs looking and smelling fabulous!! Well done Naked!
