A Very Vegan Christmas Menu

A Very Vegan Christmas Menu_LittleSoapCompany.co.ukThis Christmas, we urge you all to eat good food and be merry- wherever you are, and whoever you’re celebrating with. And with this in mind, we’ve compiled our ultimate wish list for a very vegan Christmas menu. These are the dishes fit for kings this festive season- we simply cannot wait to tuck in! Enjoy…

Pre-dinner nibbles

No party is complete without a little something to nibble on, and is it even Christmas if you don’t constantly have something delicious to feast on? We’re loving the vast array of vegan friendly foods that are now available in the supermarkets, but we do like to add a home made touch to the food we serve at Christmas. This year we’re going for these scrumptious sounding carrot and caraway crackers, with a fresh pot of this luxury hummus.

Starters to die for

Set the scene for the meal ahead, and do it right! A traditional Christmas dinner usually features soup of some kind, the perfect warming pre-cursor to dinner, but this year we’re making some changes. Cauliflower has featured heavily on our menus throughout 2018, and there’s a really good reason why. The versatility, the taste, the texture… and our favourite way to have it? Roasted, with a touch of sea salt and black pepper.

Cur your cauliflower into small florets, place into a roasting pan and drizzle with olive oil. Add pink Himalayan salt and freshly ground black pepper then roast in the oven until brown and crispy. be patient- it can take up for an hour for the cauliflower to take on the delicious crispy-yet-melt-in-the-mouth consistency you need. Enjoy!

Another started featuring on our tables this festive season has to be these awesome sounding turmeric tofu kebabs. How amazing do they look?
