Here at Little Soap we love supporting fellow small businesses, and its important that we work with brands who have ethical policies that closely align to our own. In the past, we’ve been lucky enough to feature some amazing brands here on the blog, and over on social too. So this week, we’re delighted to tell you a little about our most recent collaboration with some amazing brands- we think you’re going to truly love this one! Regular readers will know that we support the SOS charity (read more about our work with them here) so it’s with great pleasure that we introduce the three fabulous brands we’ve teamed up with to bring you a super little prize bundle for Mother’s Day!
Chococo Chocolates
While its true that we love a good bar of chocolate here at Little Soap, it really can’t be just any bar of chocolate! Of course, vegan will always be our preference, but it has to come from a brand who truly care too. With beliefs and ethics that echo our own, and we think we’ve found just the match with Chococo Chocolate!
Created in Dorset in 2002, Chococo Chocolate is a small brand with a big mission ‘to tantalise the taste buds of our customers with the most deliciously uplifting fine chocolate experience in the UK. ” – and if that wasn’t enough, Chococo Chocolate also care deeply about our planet too. “We were ahead of the curve back in 2002 when we launched our selection boxes without any plastic inserts to hold the chocolates in place. Today, 100% of our packaging is either compostable, recycled or recyclable. On a more global scale, we are supporting marine conservation and reforestation projects in the UK and Sumatra.”
Chococo’s amazing vegan range features the delightful Tuantoo the Vegan Orangutan, which is their deliciously perfect addition to our prize bundle. With a percentage of profits from every sale of the orangutan going to the SOS charity, this is one sweet treat we definitely recommend!
Tommy and Lottie
This is a beautiful unisex adult and child clothing brand that really stands out to make a difference. We just love their clothes, and every thing they believe in too. Tommy and Lottie have a true passion to protect the environment and specialise in ethical and sustainable pieces that will last- made using Vertical Cotton: “cotton is grown, produced, manufactured in one place and not all over the world helping towards reducing the carbon footprint impact. The people employed in the factory come from the local community (where the cotton is actually grown). They are not just given jobs but are also taught life long skills so they can provide for their families getting them out of poverty. They are treated fairly with good working conditions, a fair wage and many other benefits.”
Tommy and Lottie are adding a stunning embroidered Orangutan jumper (size large) to the prize bundle- and again, a percentage of profits from the sales of this product are donated to the SOS charity. Amazing!
Reforest Tea
Ah, we love a good cuppa here at Little Soap- but, of course, not just any cuppa! We’ve made the switch to a better brew, thanks to the amazing Reforest Tea! This is an independent social business that does so much more than sell tea-bags (incidentally, 100% of the profits from the sales of their tea goes directly back into the projects they fund)- this is a chance for you to be able to take part in something rather special, every time you reach for the kettle.
Reforest Tea support carefully selected non-profit projects and organisations that are working to plant trees and conserve forests around the world. “Planting trees and conserving forests is a simple, cheap and low-tech way to provide employment and economic opportunities for people and communities, improve soil quality and water holding capacity for crops, create and conserve forest habitats for wildlife, and remove pollutants and improve the atmosphere for everyone.”
Reforest Tea was established in 2019 and is served in select locations across Cambridge. You can order their “forest friendly” tea online and have it delivered to your door. Such an amazing organisation, don’t you think? Reforest Tea are donating three packs of their best selling tea to the prize bundle.
