Our Favourite Vegan Beauty Brands

Last week we gave you some tips on adopting a vegan lifestyle and we touched on the importance of researching vegan-friendly brands. It can really make a difference to have a bank of brands you know you can trust to bring you quality products that don’t compromise your beliefs, and it helps to weed out the brands you really don’t want to buy into too. This week we thought we’d share some of our own favourite vegan beauty brands we think you’ll love. Enjoy!

Freya + Bailey

Freya + Bailey is amazing! We just love their philosophy too:

“We make gorgeous effective skincare to help manage the damaging impact of stress, air pollution and other modern day realities on your skin radiance and vitality… We also strive to be part of something bigger. We’re really proud of our eco values and carbon offset programme. Plus a portion of our profits goes to fund causes that reduce stress in our communities.”

All Freya + Bailey products are 100% vegan, natural and cruelty free and crucially super effective for your skin too. They’re not just beautiful products that look lovely in the home, but they are really power houses packed with ingredients that are scientifically proven to benefit your skin, whatever its needs. All Earth Minerals

All Earth Minerals has to be a brand to watch in 2021.Founded by Julie Wieczorek and Guy Hanson, this is one brand we absolutely love here at Little Soap- and we think you will too. As a makeup artist, Julie knew that something was missing in the market- it was all becoming too confusing for those wanting to use natural makeup and the shelves were starting to fill with ineffective gimmicks. After suffering a traumatic loss she decided to channel her grief into focusing on making some changes. She teamed up with Guy and between them they created the perfect range of natural makeup. The rest, as they say, is history.

Affordable mineral makeup in refillable ‘pots for life’- foundation, contour powder, blusher, cream tints, brushes and skincare… it’s allure and it’s amazing.

Eden Vegan Perfume

You definitely need to check out Eden Perfume! We just love their whole philosophy:

“Our ingredients are 100% vegan, cruelty free and ethically sourced. We use organic ingredients where possible and our entire range of fragrances contain between 80% and 90% certified organic ingredients. We’re a vegan family that live in the south coast of the UK in the beautiful cosmopolitan city of Brighton.
We are so passionate about our job and love to create perfume.
We love animals too much to experiment on them.
We love nature too much, we encourage recycling.
We love humans too much, we want you to use our botanical perfumes.
We love our customers, we make our perfumes affordable”

The range boasts fragrances for both men and women, plus unisex aromas that are just amazing. All perfumes are made using vegan ingredients and are crafted with respect for both animals, the planet and you. Check them out- you’re going to love them.

Zao

Zao makeup really is something special. Makeup that strives to reduce the impact of consumption on the environment. Makeup that is not only organic and vegan friendly, but 100% natural too. Makeup that we recommend you get your hands on as soon as you can!

Zao products are not tested on animals and are certified cruelty free. They also proudly boast fully refillable packaging too, making them a brand that produces less waste, uses less plastic and consumes less energy. And for the consumer? You get the ability to enjoy lower prices and the flexibility of refilling with different colours whenever you like. Win win!

Lani

Since we discovered Lani we’ve become super fans of their simply amazing hair care and skincare range. It’s bright, it’s funky and above all it’s vegan. What more could we ask for?!

“Lani stands for natural, vegan, cruelty-free skin and hair care that doesn’t cost the earth. The brand is also multi-award winning and all the products are packaged into glass bottles and jars, are made with high quality, food-grade ingredients and are always free of parabens, synthetic fragrances, silicones, mineral oils and animal derived ingredients.”

Lani not only provides us with vegan friendly hair serums to shout about, but it also works hard to support charities and communities too. With four chosen charities each year (view them on the website to find out more) the brand has been going strong since 2014 and has something of a cult status in the vegan community today. And the best part? It’s all reasonably priced too. Go, go, go!
