Pershore Plum Festival 2010

A mahhhosive “plum day” out for all the family was had at Pershore’s biggest event of the year as it celebrated the fruit for which it is internationally famous…  Little was there in Plum Alley and sneaked off whenever they could to see the teddy parachute jump and classic cars and amazing VW camper vans (I want one!) and farmers market, and to see the various plums, tastings, get plummy advice, plum products (including sausages, soaps (er, that’s us!!) and jams).  There were also Plum boat trips, arts and crafts, street and children entertainment including the Chipping Camden Morris Dancers, Morning Dew, Pershore Brass, Little George, Wyred Up, Pershore Town Choir and Steve Kaos. There was the Plum Splash and Play Zone, Abbey tower trips and concerts, trade & charity stalls, the Retail Market, High Street shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants open…. wow. What an amazing day…. with an estimated 19,000 present at the Plum Festival!!!!

One of the top prizes for the Pershore Plum Grand draw was for an intensive soap making workshop with us here….. which will be drawn this evening at the plum round up…….. can’t wait to see who we’ll be teaching!

We had a FAB day…… as you can probably tell 🙂
