Sustainable Dish

We love this podcast because it has a really informative little mix of issues focusing around food- from vegetarian and vegan lifestyles, to Fair Trade and biodynamic wines, there’s something for everyone that really gets you thinking. We love that there is a strong gardening focus too, for those of us who like to get our hands dirty and grow our own food.

For those of you who want to know more about the origins of the Sustainable Dish podcast, It’s host by Diana Rodgers, a licensed registered dietitian nutritionist and nutritional therapy practitioner who lives on a working organic farm in Boston. Her podcasts feature a range of brilliant guests who help her to discuss ways that we can all live sustainably and we highly recommend you give it a listen!

Sustainabbble

This podcast is a little more lighthearted but no less worthy, let us tell you! Billed as ‘a weekly podcast about the environment, for and by the confused.’, Sustainababble is totally relatable to those among us who want to live an eco-friendly life but actually don’t always get it right. And that’s ok! We are all human, after all- and that what makes this podcast so appealing. As they say themselves, ‘Your hosts Ol and Dave are supposed to be experts in how to save the planet. But why’s everything got to be so confusing? Each week they try to get a little bit closer to enlightenment. They may fail.’

We particularly liked the episode Ocean Plastic but there are so many to listen to right now that you may as well start at the beginning! Listen to the podcast here.

A Sustainable Mind

Described by Eartheasy.com as ‘A project with unlimited potential for inspiring others to champion sustainability.’- this is one podcast you really don’t want to miss. Each week the hosts feature influential ‘environmental change makers’ and give listeners an invaluable insight to the things that have influenced their attitudes towards the earth and very podcast is filled with inspiring tips and facts too.

What stands out the most about A Sustainable Mind is the fact that not only does it bring you into the world of the most inspiring environmental activist, help you to understand what drives them and why they care the way that they do- but it also inspire YOU to take action too. It gives you the tools and the knowledge to actually go out there and be the change you really want to see in the world. Start with Marjorie Alexander’s ‘Easiest Ways to Go Green in 2018’ and take it from there.
