We’re on the New Cotswolds Monopoly Game!

When we tell you that there has been much excitement and merriment here at Little Soap HQ, we really mean it- there has been a LOT of excitement! We recently attended a very special launch, with a very special place of honour- and we can’t wait to tell you all about it. We’re on the new Cotswolds Monopoly game!

Introducing the new Cotswolds Monopoly…

You’ve played Monopoly, right? It’s a firm family favourite at Christmas and other major holidays! It’s a game that we all know only too well- a race to buy and trade property around our capital, London. Well, now the Cotswolds has its very own version- and Little Soap is featured!

Our very own Emma was invited to the exclusive launch where the much anticipated big reveal unveiled the brand new version of the game, which we just know you are going to love!

What’s in the new game?

In this new Cotswolds version, a gorgeous tractor replaces the racing car token from the classic Monopoly original, following a public vote amongst good humoured Cotswoldians. There’s also a sheep, instead of the Scottie Dog, along with a camper van (to replace the top hat) and some hiking boots (to replace the old boot). And the top ranking square replacing Mayfair in the game’s London original? Broadway Tower, of course!

And- the best part, as far as we’re concerned- we get to feature too! We star on a red coloured square. And the price to buy us- lock, stock and barrel? Just £34.99 Monopoly dollars!

You can get your hands on the new Cotswolds Monopoly game now!

The best news is that, while we here at Little Soap have been waiting (not so patiently, as it turns out!) a little while to see the launch of the new Cotswolds Monopoly game, you don’t need to wait at all. The game is out and ready to be played this Easter! Woohoo!

What to expect? The game is a true journey around the most picturesque sites that the UK has to offer, from the Cotswold Way to Broadway Tower… you can own them all! “Start your journey with a trip to the Model Village, followed by a breathtaking walk up Cleeve Hill, the highest point of the Cotswold hill range. Or if you fancy a more relaxed stroll, don’t forget to stop off on the garden colour set and explore the grounds of the Batsford and Westonbirt Arboretums, as well as the 18th-century Painswick Rococo Garden.

If that wasn’t enough, round off your trip with a visit to Sudeley Castle, the burial place of Queen Catherine Parr. Pick up Chance and Community Chest cards for unexpected prizes and penalties, but watch out for those costly Diamonds and Wellies spaces! Get ready to roll the dice and build your very own Cotswold empire!”

We cannot wait to hear what you think of the new Cotswolds Monopoly game- please do let us know in the comments or over on social if you get your hands on one this Easter. What better way to spend quality time with the family this springtime?! This really is the world’s slowest game of Monopoly… and we love it!
