And so, the adventure beginsHappy New Year! we hope you had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to all that 2016 has in store... we know we are! And so, our adventure begins once more. And what better way to start the year than with a good old clean up? Let's revamp your body, mind and soul. Let's create new paths to travel down. Let's clean up for the new year!

- Dropping the sugar from your cup of tea.
- Swapping sugary sweets and cakes for healthier alternatives. Snack on nuts and fruit instead.
- Drink more water.
- Get out and get moving more.
- Soothing foot soak. Your feet are often the last thing you take care of, but winter can be really harsh on your toes. Treat yourself to a soothing foot soak with 400g epsom salts, 65g bicarbonate of soda, and the zest of one lime. You can also add 3-4 drops of peppermint essential oil. Combine all ingredients together and add a spoonful or two to warm water as and when needed. Bliss!
- Coconut hair mask. You know we love coconut! Combine 6 tablespoons coconut oil (melted) with 1 tablespoon of honey and mix well. Apply to the hair and leave for 15-20 minutes. Rinse well and wash as normal.
- Lip scrub. Your poor chapped lips will love you for this! Mix half a teaspoon olive oil with half a teaspoon granulated sugar in a bowl. Then add a drop of vanilla extract and mix well. Apply to the lips and gently exfoliate for a few minutes. Hello super soft lips! Finish with a soothing lip balm.
- Be honest. When it comes to your goals, aspirations and intentions for this year, make sure you are honest with yourself. Do you really want to run a marathon, or do you think it's something other people want you to do? I know it's a generic example, but the principle remains. Make 2016 a year for YOU. Don't try to live up to someone else's dreams. Be honest with yourself about who you are and what you want, and make sure you tell yourself you are a step closer evert day.
- Set small goals, and take smaller steps. Lots of people tend to think in terms of goals for the year, but you're more likely to find success if you work month by month, or even week by week. And make sure your small goals involve plans for you. So if your goal for this week is just to have an hour to yourself, then that's fine. It's something you can achieve, and you know you'll feel better for it too.
- Be confident. Know that you are doing the best that you can and that you will succeed.
