Looking Back on 2020

Well. What a year! Global pandemic aside, there has been lots of amazing developments for Little Soap as a company, and we’re genuinely so excited to see what 2021 brings. Before we share some of our amazing highlights from 2020, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on the strangeness of the year as a whole- and to offer our thoughts and well wishes to all who have been affected by Coronavirus. It really has been a difficult year for so many. As a brand, we’ve faced some hard times and things have certainly been very challenging for business. But we’re still keen to take a moment to reflect and gently celebrate the wins of 2020 too. So as we’re looking back on 2020, we thought we’d share some of our achievements with you all.

B Corp Certification

Last month we were awarded B Corp certification and to be honest we’re still very much riding that high! This was such a huge moment for us! Every single part of Little Soap was assessed thoroughly to make sure we’re doing our best for the planet, our people- and you! Being a certified B Corp means that we’re a proud part of a global group of like-min did businesses that meet the very highest of standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. We’re now officially members of a collective of businesses that are trying to build a more inclusive and sustainable economy- and together we can be a force for good!

Covid-19 Business Hero

As the title suggests, Little Soap was listed in the Business Leader Magazine’s top 32 Covid-19 Business Heroes! This award celebrates businesses that have reacted to the global pandemic and adapted the way that they operate to become a force for good.

Gold AND silver win the Green Parent Natural Beauty Awards 2020

Whoop! Gold and silver for our Eco Warrior Shampoo bar PLUS bronze for our Eco Warrior shaving bar. Amazing achievements and awards we’re fiercely proud of!

Pure Beauty Awards London

More award wins for our Eco Warrior heroes! This time we achieved bronze for our shaving bar, while our Eco Warrior Mini Cube, Naturals Range Sweet Orange bar, and Eco Warrior Sensitive Facial Bar were all shortlisted too!

Beauty Shortlist Awards 2020

More additions to our trophy cabinet! This time we scooped Best Artisan Soap Brand and our Organic Grapefruit and Orange bar was awarded Best Artisan Soap.

Beauty Shortlist Wellbeing Awards 2020

Continuing our amazing winning streak (hey, what can we say? You guys love our soap as much we do, clearly!) our Eco WarriorShampoo bar and Exfoliating Bar and Shaving bar were both recognised in the Beauty Shortlist Wellbeing Awards 2020.

Natural Health Beauty Awards 2020

Another win for the Eco Warrior Range- this time our Shaving bar, and Exfoliating bar were both shortlisted alongside the Organic Rose and Geranium bar and the Organic Lavender bar!

Free From Skincare Gift Awards 2020 

Another amazing award haul! This time we won bronze for our Naturals Collection Gift Set - Soap Bars; bronze for our Naturals Collection Gift Set - Stocking Fillers and silver for our Eco Warrior Total Works - Mixed Skincare. Phew! I think you’ll agree it’s been quite a year all in all! Thank you so much to all of our loyal customers- your support really does mean a lot to us here at Little Soap.
