As a business, we do our best to keep our carbon emissions as low as possible, from electric company vehicles to teams working remotely to avoid the unnecessary emissions from commuting. After calculating our emissions earlier this year, it became clear that not only are our emissions low – but we could also do a lot more to give back to the planet.
We decided to not only offset our emissions, but more than double our offsetting to not only become Carbon Neutral, but Carbon Negative – giving back even more to the planet with the help of Carbon Neutral Britain.
We’ve measured and calculated our Scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions to a near net zero amount of 12.05 tonnes CO2e generated. We’re offsetting 30.61 tonnes of CO2e through woodland reforestation projects across the UK.
These certified woodland projects help plant trees to reduce flooding, support jobs in the UK, and provide sustainable raw materials… just to name a few.
We’re so proud to not only offer a sustainable solution on the shelves of supermarkets, but one which truly gives back more than what we take from the planet.
