We like to keep our finger on the pulse here at Little Soap HQ, and one of the best ways to do this is by reading, reading, and then reading some more! In particular, we find that keeping up to date with our favourite blogs is one of the best ways to stay ahead of the curve, especially when it comes to all things eco. What better way to stay informed than by reading blogs that are dedicated solely to the topic you truly care about? These days it’s no longer enough to log on to a news website and expect to find articles you want to read. You have to search them out, and we believe that having your favourite blogs on your reading list is an absolute must! So what are the blogs we always subscribe to and ensure we never miss a post from? Here are just three eco-mama blogs you should look out for- do let us know who else we should be following!
We love Kate’s blog Eco Boost. A London based woman striving to live a zero waste lifestyle? Yes please. She writes passionately on key principles- living an organic life, supporting a sustainable living, and- in her own words- being generally awesome. Check out her post on building a zero waste make up kit, and her advice on how to live more sustainably.
Eco Boost is so incredibly inspiring, with lots of information and real life anecdotes on how easy it can be to live a truly zero waste lifestyle, even whilst living in the middle of a busy city. In particular, check out her directory of ethical/ sustainable brands– super helpful to have all of these brands listed, and believe me there are more than you think!
Wellness Mama is more than a blog. Billed as ‘the largest online resource for natural moms’, this is our go to for all things green and all things natural. Katie is a mother of six who strives to help others to make the transition to natural living as easily as possible, and we love her for it.
From tips and articles on natural remedies, DIY tips and tricks for maintaining a natural home, to home made beauty recipes and more- Wellness Mama truly has it all. We’re in love with Katie’s chocolate face mask recipe, and we absolutely love the fact she also runs a weekly podcast, The Healthy Moms Podcast. Check out her blog now, and make sure you subscribe for new posts too.
Eco Thrifty Living
Eco Thrifty Living is one amazing blog! Run by Zoe, the main focus is on saving money and protecting the environment. Now with a book on the way and a course in the pipeline, it’s easy to see why it’s one of the most popular blogs out there- and definitely one at the top of our must read list!
Zoe’s a girl after our own hearts, as her post on packaged foods proves– her frustration on single use plastic echoes our own feelings on the subject! But it’s the community that really draw us in to Eco Thrifty Living, because it’s such a wonderful way to connect with other link minded individuals with similar passions. Check out the Facebook group on reducing food waste and make sure you’re following the food waste bloggers on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram too!
